Ibiza Hotels: Discover The Islands Exciting Markets

It may not be an obvious choice, but the gorgeous island of Ibiza is teeming with amazing markets packed with bargains you've simply got to discover. From its hippy markets to Christmas markets to much more... take a look at these top markets on your holiday.
Arts and crafts! From May to October, this local village square comes alive with stalls selling handmade items that are locally made for the San Miguel Artisan Market. Whether you're wanting to spend the cash or not, it's a lovely place to wander around and soak up the atmosphere. Plus in the evening, in front of the stunning church, Ibicencan dances are held. A definite sight to see!
Winter wonderland! From mid December, Las Dalias Christmas Market is the market to visit. The Las Dalias restaurant is transformed into a Christmas wonderland, complete with stalls selling gorgeous gifts, decorations and more. Be sure to try the local warm snacks and 'Glühwein'.
Rummage a plenty! San Jordi Rastrillo is a fantastic car boot sale - one man's rubbish is another man's treasure! Head off from one of the Ibiza hotels early to catch the bargains. Popular with locals and tourists, it's set in the grounds of the Hipodromo horse-racing track at Sant Jordi. The track is lined with cars selling everything and anything - a wonderful jumble sale of goodies!
Trinkets galore! Las Dalias Hippy Market in San Carlos in the North-East is one of the most famous of markets. Book one of the many Ibiza hotels to take full advantage of the unique shopping experience. And bartering is par for the course too - you'll need to brush up on your haggling skills to get the most out of your trip here. Set in the grounds of a restaurant, this weekly market can be found every Saturday throughout the year. Considered to be the original and largest, you'll find a fantastic selection of handmade clothes and jewellery along with trinkets and treasures.
Hippy hippy shakes! Held in the grounds of the Club Punta Arabi, Hippy Market Punta Arabi at Es Cana has countless stalls huddle under the shade of the pine trees in the traditional winding paths between white bungalows.
Head out from one of the many cheap hotels and prepare to shop till you drop! Be prepared to spend quite a few hours here to see all the stalls and experience the vibe. Busy and bustling, it's a real hive of shopping activity!
